Medusa's musical journey began at 16, taking her from the rock scene of Rio de Janeiro to New York City in 2015. There, she embraced the energy of subway stations and Central Park, honing her craft through busking and intimate gigs. She became one of the co-lead vocalists and rhythm guitarist of Trapped in Static, a band sponsored by Sam Ash in 2019. With TIS, she performed at events like the NYC TCS Marathon, Arlene’s Grocery, Montauk Music Festival, and Prohibition. Now based in Los Angeles, she is forging her path as a solo artist, blending her multicultural background and emotional depth into each performance. Her versatile repertoire spans 80s/90s pop & rock, indie, alternative, metal, emo, Brazilian and early 2000s pop. Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, using music to express her identity, channel her fantasies, and connect across cultures.
